For students under 18, we also collect the name and contact details of a parent or guardian. During lessons, we may keep notes on your progress, such as the skills you've achieved and the level you're working at. With your permission, we may also take photos, videos or recordings of lessons and performances. Our website may collect basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, through cookies.

How we use your information

We use your information to manage bookings and payments, deliver lessons and track your progress, contact you about your lessons, respond to your enquiries and meet our legal and financial obligations. We will only use photos, videos or recordings on our website or social media if you (or your parent or guardian, if you're under 18) have given clear consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Our legal basis

Young students

We welcome students of all ages. For anyone under 18, we ask a parent or guardian to make the booking and give consent on their behalf, and we will only share progress information with that parent or guardian.

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted services that help us run the academy, such as our website and booking platform (Wix) and payment providers, who must keep your information secure. We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep your information

We keep booking and progress records for as long as you are a student and for up to [2] years afterwards, in case you return. Financial records are kept for 6 years, as required by HMRC. Photos and videos are removed if you withdraw your consent.

Keeping your information safe

We take appropriate steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card details.
