At Stacey James DJ Academy, we believe music is for everyone. We're committed to making our website and our lessons as accessible as possible, whatever your age, ability or background.

Our website

​

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This means you should be able to navigate the site using a keyboard, use screen readers and other assistive technology, zoom in without losing content, and read text with clear contrast. We add descriptions to images where possible and keep our language simple and clear.

Our site is built on the Wix platform, so some features may not yet be fully accessible. We're working to improve these, and we regularly review our site to make it easier to use.

Our lessons

We tailor every lesson to the individual, and we're happy to make reasonable adjustments to help you learn comfortably. These might include adapting the pace or length of lessons, providing written or visual guides alongside demonstrations, adjusting volume levels or offering ear protection, working in a quieter or calmer environment, or allowing a parent, carer or support worker to attend.

We welcome students who are neurodivergent or have physical, sensory or learning disabilities. Just let us know what works best for you when you book, and we'll do everything we can to help.
